Multiplication of 3 digit numbers

If you want to multiply 123 and 456 then consider 1 in 123 as a ,2 in 123 as b and 3 in 123 as c.

so the number 123 will be written as ax2 + bx +c

here x is 10 so
Here i have illustrate how to multiply 3 digit numbers using
 Vedic method  with Explanation

ax2+bx+c
=1*10*10 + 2*10  + 3
=100 + 20 + 3
=123

in same manner we take 456 as dx2 + ex + f

so now multiplication is between  ax2 + bx +c and dx2 + ex + f

so the answer is (ad)x4 + (ae + bd)x3 + (af + be + cd)x2 + (ce+bf)x + cf

If you make this practice then multiplication be very easy for you.

so using vedic trick multiplication is as shown below.

1  2  3

4  5  6

4 3 8 7 8
 1 2 2 1
5 6 0 8 8

You can do same method for any digit number for faster Multiplication.
